Thank you for a wonderful week in the lovely house with the pink door and the beautiful Shetland ponies outside. The surroundings could not have been more beautiful,  the house comfortable and all the great art – we love!
We had a great time and definitely want to return.

Thank you so much for your warmth, time and consideration. We have never stayed in a more thoughtfully equipped house (even shoe polish!).  We love the art and architects attention to colour and detail. We have had the full spectrum of weather including an unforgettable trip to Mousa at night in the mist with hundreds of storm petrels.
Aoife has loved getting to know Phoenix, Boy, Patrick, Hubert and especially Asterix.
The Shetland Pony experience across the water was great to. Our experience has exceeded many months of daydreaming and we take away vivid memories of these wonderful,  ever changing islands. We hope very much to come back, to revisit of our experiences and discover new ones.

Many thanks to you both.  We have had the most wonderful time in this lovely house.  A really relaxing place to stay.
This was our third visit to Shetland and we still think that there is more to see.  So we will be back.

We have had a very comfortable week at Holmfield, the house is well equipped, warm and comfortable.  The provision of maps for local walks was much appreciated – a very thoughtful addition to an informative house file.

We have really enjoyed staying at Holmfield,  all the art you have hanging and the framed views through the windows. We were even treated to a brilliant pink sky.  We’re very relaxed and welcome here. We have had a brilliant time in Shetland and have really loved seeing the sea and big skies every day.  Mum loves to drive here over all the bridges.

A wonderful house in a wonderful setting with wonderful hosts! No need to explore beyond the great walks on East and West Burra – but if you do, then great discoveries awake.  All the museums are fascinating, and every one on Shetland are very friendly.
